What does the medical record NOT show you?
The chart shows you what was written. The audit trail shows you what actually happened. The audit trail reveals who accessed the record and when, whether entries were added, changed, or deleted after the fact, and whether the timeline in the chart holds up. If documentation was edited after a bad outcome, or a critical result sat unopened until it was too late, the audit trail is where we find it.

Is this case worth it?
We review the records to see if the case has the required components: duty, breach, causation (where applicable), and damages. If your case has merit, we identify potential defendants, missing records, likely defenses, define standards of care, and types of experts needed just to name a few.

How to make sense of it all?
Our chronologies include the timeline of events and incorporate possible requests for production, deposition questions, and supporting medical literature. These additions give you a roadmap to the key elements of the case.

Junk science vs. reputable science?
We are experts in locating, deciphering, and synthesizing medical research. Let us review a topic and provide you with a deep analysis of the issue.

Are you asking the right questions?
With our intimate knowledge of hospitals, medical teams, etc., we know just the types of questions to ask in a deposition to elicit information for future requests for production. We've even gone to depositions with clients to catch inconsistencies in testimony and offer support with follow-up questions on the spot.

Who's your expert? Will they hold up on cross?
We'll locate, vet, and interface with experts for your specific case needs, cherry-picked for their unique qualifications and experience.

What facts could hurt your case?
Our unbiased opinion may not always be what you want to hear, but we value honesty and want you to be completely aware of any pitfalls your case may have. We pride ourselves on steering our clients away from cases without merit.
